2 Months Old!
Happy 2 Month Birthday!
(our 2 month photo shoot)
First Tyson was screaming...
Then Lincoln decided to show off...
And then of course, they both decided to scream! Oh the fun we had...
I can't believe our little guys are 2 months old...time sure does fly these days! They are definitely getting bigger and are more fun each day. Lincoln now weighs 9lbs 8oz and is 21.75 inches long & Tyson is 8lbs 1oz and is 20.25 inches long---they definitely like their food! If I don't get it fast enough, excuse my language, but all hell breaks loose in our house! They definitely let me know that they are hungry and that I need to feed them NOW!
Lincoln got his 2 month shots, even though he screamed bloody murder while getting them, he calmed down pretty fast and hasn't had any side effects. Tyson won't be getting his shots until after he has surgery, because when you are on heart & lung bypass you have to redo any shots that were given recently so instead of putting him through the agony we'll wait until after surgery to get them done---no need to do them twice! Speaking of surgery...we finally got a date! He is scheduled to have surgery on Monday, November 9th, as long as all his pre-op tests go well on the 6th. We are so happy to finally get out little man's heart fixed!!!
Everyone else in our household are doing well...we're still feeling like we never get enough sleep, but the boys are sleeping a little better so that's a plus! Kaila is doing great, she got all A's (mostly A+'s) last quarter and we couldn't be more proud of her. Woohoo! Great job Kaila :o)
Here's what we've been doing over the past month...
~We're starting to smile...mainly in our sleep, but we have smiled at mommy & daddy though...as soon as I capture them smiling while they're awake I'll post it, but for now here are the ones while sleeping!
Lincoln...
Tyson...this pic makes me laugh every time! He looks so chubby...
~They are starting to talk...well "coo". When they do "talk", they stop and look at us with these looks on their faces, like what did I just do and how do I do that again?! It's super cute :o)
~Tyson's umbilical cord FINALLY came off!! Why was it still on after 8 weeks you ask?! Well, when he was born they put 2 lines through the umbilical cord to draw blood etc., and they used sutures to keep everything in place which in the end prolonged the cord falling off! Now we have a very clean baby :o)
"Check out my battle scar!"
"Seriously mom, no more pictures!"
~Had some wonderful family time...They also welcomed their Grandma & Grandpa from Nebraska--- GO BIG RED! They are staying with us for 2 weeks and we are loving every moment!! Lincoln's way of welcoming Grandpa, is with the biggest and the smelliest diapers on the face of the planet!! He seriously would only poop when Grandpa held him and boy do they smell---ha ha ha

Cute family pics too. Send one to the grandparents in a frame for Christmas! It's the easiest gift to get and they will like it the best too. (Everyone in my family either gets a picture or a painting by Matthew, haha. I am too cheap to do anything else)
