No more binkies!!

Image
We officially (for 3 weeks now!) no longer use binkies!!  We were a little worried as to how rough it would be, seeing as how they love them and have used them since they were born, but they did great ! I think with them not being able to talk helped, because they couldn't scream "Binkie, I want my binkie!!" at us.  The first night, they were unsure as to what was going on.  We did our normal bedtime routine, but they for sure knew something was off, they just couldn't pin point it.  There was really no crying and they went down pretty easy --- we thought too easy and that the rest of week was going to be horrible! Honestly for the next couple nights, there was not more than 5 minutes of crying and they were sleeping within 30 minutes of us laying them down!  By night 4 there were no problems going bed except for the normal, "I'm not tired yet" behavior  :o)  Even in the middle of the night has been a piece of ca...

Slides

Image
We're not sure why, but Tyson recently became deathly afraid of slides --- big or small, he is just scared of them all! Prior to him becoming scared of them we had only been on a couple slides by our house and as far as we know, nothing bad happened.  So, to try and help him with his fear, we kept going back to slides...big ones, little ones, long ones, short ones, anything to help!  After all that hard work....He did it!! He's still a little hesitant, but he's been going down them all by himself over and over again!! They love going outside and playing at the parks so we try to go there at least a couple times a week (not only for the boys, but for us too :o)  It's our break too!) They are just cute-cute-cute!  And such boys-boys-boys :o) Eating a granola bar for the first time and not too about it! Running around!

10 Year Post

I'm finally posting Kaila's 10 yr post...I know...way behind :o) We really are so blessed to have her!  I rarely don't have to worry about her because she is such a good kid and might I add...a straight A student -woot woot!  She makes a mama proud!   2nd quarter in a row this year and she's made the principals list, which is a good thing it's like honor roll :o) At 10 Kaila is thriving --- mostly great with some well...when you turn 10 and are in 5th grade you develop some cranky-hormonal-attitudes and that is no bueno ! haha. Other than those occaisional pre-teen moments she's a great kid and we love her to death! She is such a big help and adores her brothers. Her stats are... -Height: 4' 11" (98th perentile) Think she's going to be taller than her mom?! haha, with out a doubt she will !! -Weight: 98lbs (also 98th percentile) - Wears size 14 in clothes & 6-6.5 shoe She's a tall girl and very athletic...I'm thinking we may hav...

Formula Coupons

Image
After a year of buying formula, which is extremely expensive, especially when you are buying for 2 babies, I have never, not once, recieved instore coupons for the brand we buy, that is until they are no longer using formula!!!   I have purchased can after can, case after case of Similac formula from Walgreens & Target and they always gave me coupons for Enfamil --- You would think that if I was purchasing Similac formula, they would give me coupons for that brand, but they always popped out coupons for Enfamil! Literally days after I stopped giving the boys formula last September, I got this coupon! What's up with that?!
