Road Trip

In October we took a road trip to Omaha to visit family.  I fall in love with that place the more I visit, although I just can't handle the snow after being so spoiled here in AZ!!  there are not that many places that you can wear shorts, or short sleeves in the middle of winter :)

We drove thru Colorado this time and of course, we get in the middle of their first snow storm of the year!  It was the first time the boys had seen snow and they thought it was so awesome!!

For the most part, the boys were pretty good on the ride there and of course Kaila slept the entire way...

Such cool skies on our drive...

When we arrived, we popped in to see Rob's parents a day early and I can't remember what they were discussing but it was something that his Dad was trying to make Rob agree to and when I turned around his Dad was up on a chair making his point.  It was so cute and funny!

This was in front of my sister and brother in-laws house, look how beautiful the grass and trees are and of course I think the family is pretty cute too :o)

The boys goofing off in the basement...

And then the girls turn to goof off...we did not know someone was taking pictures! Ha

Lincoln & Tyson with their Uncle Rich (the God-father too!) and one of their cousins, Sheamus at dinner one night we were there...

The boys looking "cool" while shopping at the mall...I just love these two and their silliness!

Noah is teaching everyone how to use the ipad...

We went to the children's museum in Omaha and I swear it's the best one ev-er!  The kids had so much fun!

After our family pictures we went to a cool down town area and had some ice cream!

No trip to Omaha is the same without a trip to the Zoo!  It seriously is one of the best I have ever been too!

We watched our nephew play baseball, he is quite the ball player! Go Liam!!

Here are Rob's parents watching the game...could they be any cuter?!  Love them!

We all went to the dinner afterwards, check out all these kids and this was only a quarter of the Majorek cousin clan...love the big family!

Rob and I got the night off since Aunt Lisa agreed to take all the kids :o)

We went to the Fontenelle Forest to hike around...

Rob got to eat at his favorite pizza joint, La Casa, a couple times.  He was a happy camper!!

Tyson developed a new best friend, Uncle Sham!  They would eat breakfast together, Tyson would eat Uncle Shams dinners...basically Tyson would have a 2nd or 3rd dinner most times :o)

We did another trip to the Zoo with cousins, Noah & Ella.  These kids are so cute!!

They had this awesome dinosaur exhibit there!  They would move and make noises, so realistic!  The kids loved it...

I tried Vegan food for the first time and actually it was pretty good and tasty :o)

We went to this Nebraska store to get some Corn Husker gear...it was a overwhelming sea of crazy red!

Rob and his brother played on these oversized tricycles...it was hilarious to watch these grown me ride around!!

When we were downtown, we took the boys to these huge slides and they had a blast!  We all did...

My boys...

Apparently Aunt Lisa would honk her horn every time she went thru this tunnel that it turned in to us having to do it every time we went thru...sorry city of Omaha for being so loud! Ha

The boys at Aunt Lisa's cool house!!  This is her garage, that was used years and years ago to make moonshine...seriously the coolest house ever!

Here's a peak in to the moonshine pit...

A night out at the Spaghetti Works and the boys got balloons!

We got to meet up with Yiayai and Pappou for breakfast!!  It was so great to see them, we really miss them here in AZ!

The Majorek's in a real corn field :)

Our last night with Rob's parents, we have a lovely dinner at one of the restaurants that his family went to growing up...

Once we left Omaha, we made a special trip to see my brother, Riley, and his girlfriend, Ami.  We didn't get to stay for long, but we made the most of our time just enjoying each other!  We miss them tons, but we're are so thankful we got to see them!

We got to meet their new puppy!!

The kids got a special look inside the fire department to see where Uncle Riley works :o)

Even my hubs got in the uniform ;o)

It got super loud!

We then finished off the day with some lunch at a Mexican restaurant that they like---it was good, even for it being in Kansas :o)

We then got the pleasure of riding home for 19+ hours straight!  fun times.  At the very end, Rob looked at me and said, "I will never do this again".  Ha...we'll see ;o)
