Kaila's 9th Birthday!!

Last Saturday we celebrated Kaila's 9th Birthday by having a slumber party and then a pool party the next day! Rob thought I was crazy and before it started I disagreed but soon after...I started to agree!! hahaha

No really, it was a good time! Kaila had so much fun as well did the kids! We did all kinds of things from swimming, eating, movies, bracelet making (thank you Haley) to make-overs! Yep that's right make-overs! They did their own make-up and nails and then for the fun part...they did mine and my sisters!! I would say that we definitely are the start of a new trend!! :o)

Sounds like you had a blast, Kaila! Happy birthday! It's hard to believe you are 9 already :) Girl parties are the best, but for now I am having fun with boy toys! Sevvie is 3 and will meet his baby brother in about 6 days!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys, too, as you prepare for twin boys! We are so excited for you. We also continue to pray for your strength, peace, and courage with the major surgery that baby B will have.

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
