Zoo!!

On Friday a group of us took our kiddos to the Zoo and it was so much fun! It was the boys first time, and even though they are too young to understand what was going on, they really enjoyed being outdoors! I didn't get a lot of pictures as it was kind of crazy with all our kids, but here are some shots of the day!

And the Tigers...I just HAD to see them, but shortly regretted it once I started pushing the double stroller up the massive hill!! Sorry for making my friends walk that hill :o)

You guys look awsome! I left a comment after Tyson's last appt update. I am sorry for your stresses. . . but he looks AWSOME and that is a great sign! Thanks for you kind words. I have wondered about you often. You seem like you are handling the stress well. Maybe the twins thing is a blessing. . . no time to have a breakdown ;)

The Zoo WAS so fun!!! You need a membership so we can go all the time before it gets too hot.

that hill does suck- but it's good for us- so make me walk up it every time!!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
