Goodbye baby toys and hello to big boy toys!

When we were in Nebraska the boys played with their cousin, Noah's toys and they just loved them!  So after we got home we went to the toy store and got them a couple "big boy" toys!

It's definitely kind of sad cause it just shows that they are growing up, but oh my gosh they have a blast playing with them!! 

I'm especially proud of myself with this toy, normally these go for about $50, I got this one from "Once Upon A Child" for only $20.00!!  The best part it's in great condition and was barely used! And yes I disinfected like no other...I know I'm anal :o)

Their own ball pit because they love balls!

FYI there are 125 balls! And I am picking them up all the time because this little guy loves to take them out one by one! 

So we decided to share our toys and have a playdate with our friends Matthew & Evan!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
