Strings player

That's right, we have a "strings player" in our house.  Kaila (by her own choice) took up the Viola in her Orchestra class and just loves it!

I have to say that when she first started I wanted to pull my hair out, but I have to admit she's actually not so bad!!

Such great posts!! I just did a quick catch=up! I didn't realize Kaila was in the same grade as Kamryn and they both play strings, and they are both the best big sisters ever!!! They should get together and hang out sometime. Our little bruisers could play together too.

They are so adorable and I'm sure there is plenty of trouble in two's.

After the induction ceremony for Kaila the kids got to get up close and personal with a Police Officer's SUV.  Kambrie's (Kaila's Best Friend) dad is a Supervisor for the Police Dept and was kind enough to let all the kids check it out :o)  They all had so much fun and thought it was the coolest thing ever!

So creative...

Kaila blows me away some days with her creativity and imagination!  She had a project at school where they had to make replecas of important items out of a book they read in class.  If I remember correctly the book is called the "Hatchet".  They also had to present it to everyone and out of her entire class, her teacher asked her if she could keep it so that she can have it as an example for next year! Here is what she made...and honestly I just helped with the hot glue gun, everything was her idea and was done by her own little hands!! The bird from the book... His home that he built... The plane he came in on, tornado and fire... His bow and arrow...  And his raft and hatchet... Great job Kaila!!
