Are you responsible?!

With great responsibility comes with great things...staying home alone, babysitting, cell phones, etc...unfortunately we're still working on responsiblity in this house.  I asked Kaila to watch the boys while I went upstairs to finish getting ready...


I was gone for less than 10 minutes and when I came down Tyson was on the floor by the front door surrounded by toilet paper, there was toilet paper coming out the bathroom down the hall, Lincoln was M.I.A. and where was my daughter you ask...

She was sitting on the couch with the remote in her hand watching t.v.!!

One day we'll get there...one day!

haha- next time just quietly bring the boys upstairs when she is not looking and put them in her room. Once she sees her room destroyed, and she has to clean it up- she will never take her eyes off them again!!!!

I know. I am brilliantly mean, haha.

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
