Slides

We're not sure why, but Tyson recently became deathly afraid of slides --- big or small, he is just scared of them all!

Prior to him becoming scared of them we had only been on a couple slides by our house and as far as we know, nothing bad happened.  So, to try and help him with his fear, we kept going back to slides...big ones, little ones, long ones, short ones, anything to help!  After all that hard work....He did it!!

He's still a little hesitant, but he's been going down them all by himself over and over again!!


They love going outside and playing at the parks so we try to go there at least a couple times a week (not only for the boys, but for us too :o)  It's our break too!)




They are just cute-cute-cute!  And such boys-boys-boys :o)

Running around!

Good job Mr. T! Way to conquer those fears.

Now...keep going because when Mommy and Sarah take you, your brother and your best friend to the playground...it is because we need a break...not because we want to hold you in a playground setting. So, run and play and let us chat!!!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
