Zoo Walk for Autism!
Today we participated with Walgreen's in the Zoo Walk for Autism! It's such a great feeling in knowing that you are giving back to the community to help raise money for important research!! We started the walk at the baseball field parking lot and walked to the Zoo and then throughout the Zoo.
The walk went by pretty quick and everyone enjoyed it...almost everyone! See that little lady in this picture to the left...yeah, that would be Miss Kaila. She was not a fan of having to walk so much and made it quite clear the entire time by saying "you know I don't like to walk." Awesome.
Tyson became very popular at the end...he was super excited to give high-fives and clap for everyone!!
But when it was time to give the girls a high-five, he would refuse! He did this over and over and everyone at the finish line got such a kick out of it! Too funny!!
After the walk they had a group (in which I forgot the name) that performed a few dances. It was really touching.
After the walk, we were free to roam the Zoo...We didn't hang around too long because everyone was getting cranktastic, but we did manage to see the reptiles...
These two were fascinated with the snake, I could barely hold them back!
After we went to the Zoo, we had lunch at Smashbox (Burger joint) and played with in the fountains...
