What a day this has been!! I was swamped all day at work and then when I get home the kids & hubby worked me to the bone! Within 5-10 minutes of being home, I completely endured my crazy household and then the night just kept going...
Rob was in and out of the house trying to put together the new swingset...which is ridiculously huge and we are only on step 17 or 18 out of 50...he kept double checking the "how to" video and then calling me out to help and then saying nevermind occaisionally! Kaila had an attitude of crazy hormonal tweeness and didn't want to do anything for anyone and was not getting along with the boys. Lincoln was running around with a mallat from the drum set pretending to hit Tyson who is screaming in fear that he's going to get wacked.
The boys began dumping out my purse and making a complete disaster. I removed them from sitting on the stools and then Tyson throws himself down on the tile to begin his temper tantrum and hit's his head on the tile. These tantrums are crazy and he's only 2 and a half...every time he gets mad, he throws himself on the ground...not cool! Apparently he is taking after his favorite Aunt Haley who used to throw fits like that too!
And then Kaila is literally screaming a story at me about something to do with Orchestra class today, all while I'm trying to cook dinner! Dinner finally happened, but then the crankiness came out in all of them...we immediately had bath time and then it was melt down city!
The boys were screaming and fighting over me taking them out of the bath and getting them dressed. Tyson got so mad and just had the biggest tantrum ever, he was so beyond pissed that Daddy was helping him instead of me that he hit Rob multiple times in the face and was hitting/kicking everything...He screamed bloody murder for what seemed like forever and was so upset that Lincoln went over to Rob and scratched his arm because he thought he was hurting Tyson...needless to say it was a rough night with the boys, especiallly Tyson. They were both very tired, Tyson more so than Lincoln which explains the tantrum...but oh my word, bath/bed time was exhausting! Kaila must have been really tired too, because she fell asleep on the couch way before her bed time!!
Holy Jesus, Joseph & Mary...this night was insane! I am so ready to hit the sack...here's to a better Tuesday for all of us!
