Boys, 2 yrs old, twins...Non Stop craziness

A little moment of mommy venting...

I am totally fearing the 3's.  I honestly do not know how they can be worse than the last part of 2's?! Can it really be worse??  These past few months have been crazy, truly an out of body experience some days.  Don't get me wrong they have some wonderful moments and days, but they are working us to the bone.

Everyone says "it's just a phase", but wow, this phase really blows some days!  I just wish it was a super quick phase and there was someone that knew exactly what day they switch from being crazies to normal boys- Is there even such a thing?! Ha!!  I am just not a fan of not being in control and most days, I swear I have none.

I'm thinking that they are just around each other too much and we need to really start seperating them more because they fight non-stop.  Whenever they get mad, they just lay the smack down on each other---it's beyond frustrating!

See, right now, I am sitting here listening to them run around, jump on their beds, laugh, yell, scream, fight, chit-chat, spit...it just keeps going until someone gets hurt or we (mainly Daddy- Ha!) turns out all the lights and shuts the door and then they freak out and end up being quiet and falling asleep. But doing that every night is exhausting so we're going to make some changes..I how it works...once I have all the details, I'll share!

Boys- I love you both, but ya'll have some crazy energy and owe us big time!  I'm really not kidding, you owe us. Haha!  First, letting us sleep in...if you could do that now, that would be super helpful and then at least 3-4 days of no fighting...that's not too much to ask for is it??

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
