Mini Vaca!

The hubs and I took a mini vacation to Cali and we had so much fun!  I absolutely love love love going to the beach, it is so relaxing and this trip was no exception!

We started our trip off by going to Six Flags for the day.  We both had never been and we had so much fun and rode roller coasters until we were "Phil Dunafing It"---basically too sick to keep going- Ha!
This guy (in between the green and yellow) got stuck in the coaster before it even started, it was beyond funny! He refused to go back on the ride, but you better believe we totally rode it and it was one of the best rides!
And the rest of the time, we hung out at the beach, went kayaking in the ocean, paddle boarded, rented jet ski's, watched movies, went to dinners/lunches/breakfast and best of all slept thru the night & an in the morning!!  We were only there for 4 days, but it felt like over a week...it was awesome!! 
We got to kayak with the dolphins and it was so incredibly awesome and just a tad scary seeing as how they were super close to us...
We got barked at a few times by some seals
While we were there, there was a huge drug finding in the ocean; the helicopter was taking divers to look for more bags---crazy!
While we were kayaking for the last time, I made this noise to this seal and apparently that was wrong noise to make and he/she barked at us and then dove straight for our kayak.  I didn't realize I took the picture, but look at those teeth...it was not happy!
This is the huge, Virigin boat that you see and hear about on the tv...it is stored in Newport!  Itwas very cool!!

These homes are in the bay and are just beautiful!!
Can't get any more peaceful than this!
And a special thank you to my mom for watching the kids while we were gone!!  Thank you so so so much!!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
