T-man's Heart

Image
Tyson had a follow-up cardiology appointment to check on his heart...Our last appointment was 6 months ago and at that time we were left with the following results... -Has RPA Stenosis, levels are lower ~20's (has had RPA Stenosis since November of 2009) -Has MPA Stenosis, almost completely subsided ( has had since some time in late 2010/early 2011) This time around things are a little different, we got a bit of both good and bad. Good news is...his MPA Stenosis is not a factor---Woot-Woot!! Bad news is...his RPA Stenosis has worsened.  Per his Cardiologist, 95% of his heart is in great working shape, but the 5% has become worrisome. Basically the "kink" in his right pulmonary artery (the RPA Stenosis) has become more constricted.  Therefore his gradient level has increased.  In a normal heart-- that level is at 30, he is measuring 40 above that.  That places him in a more risky stage.  So now 2 years after the last surgery, he's...

2nd Hair-cut..

That's right, the boys have only had one haircut...until now that is.  Daddy was so graceously helpful and deicded to cut the boys hair for me.  I will admit at first, I wasn't happy---not one bit!  I loved Tyson's long blonde hair and Lincolns blonde curly fro.  Even my bff and co-workers were making fun of how upset I was.  I laugh at myself now, but at the time I was a mess---I obviously have lost my mind!!  Looking back I realize they needed it pretty bad!!!  I think I was more upset because I didn't know it was happeneing because I was at work...when I walked in the door to Lincoln's being super short and Tyson's at an awkward lenght because he wasn't cooperating.  After some tears (yes, by mommy!), making someone feel horrible for "helping" and fighting sitting still to fix the hairstyles, they look adorable!!!  The Hubs totally redeemed himself and I really do love their haircuts :o)  Good job, babe!! He...

New Years!!

We had an awesome, impromptu New Years Eve get together with our friends and all the kids!  My BFF (Sarah) hosted the get together at her house and we had so much fun, especially the kids!!  Long time friends---Sarah, Kerri & myself The kids eating---Lincoln, Nora, Tyson & Matthew The kids making music... Some of the greatest kids---Jacob, Matthew, Tyson, Nora, Lincoln, Kaila & Lucas (not pictured, Miss Natalie) After we left the Richardson's, we headed home where our neighbors lighted off all kinds of fireworks for the kids...Kaila was right up in the excitement, whereas the boys were not so fond... They finally warmed up, but only enough to stand on our driveway and watch from afar :o)  We then just came inside and watch the New Years Eve specials and counted down to the New Year!  Overall it was a great day! Happy New Year!

Christmas

We had a very nice Christmas...we spent time with my Dad and his family on Christmas Eve and then went to my Moms on Christmas Day.  It was a really good weekend and the kids had a blast! Christmas with G-Pa! They love their bat and ball set...we just may have a couple professionals on our hands :o) The hoola-hoop was the gift of the night! One of their favorite gifts were from their Great Grandma...It's a singing Santa and sing Snowman.  Everywhere we went they would bring it along and play it over and over again!!  It is quite cute to see them dance :o) Christmas with Nana! The coolest shoes ever!! Thanks Aunt Haley and Uncle Kyle! Christmas at home :o) A certain little man...Tyson...had to eat before opening any gifts...sorry Kaila for making you wait, you were a good sport!! The only gift the boys cared about was their big cars they got from Santa... BEST PICTURE EV-ER!! She got her Vans and was beyond stoked!!  The bot...

Tree Decorating!

Image
Seeing as how it's the week of Christmas, we thought it'd be a good idea to decorate the tree!  We had hot chocolate, listened to Christmas music and decorated away!! The finished project...they were so proud of the way they decorated the tree that we didn't have the heart to redo it like I normally do...most ornaments were not actually hung on the tree, they were placed on and they were jumbled together :o)  It was so cute!! My three loves! The finished project...
