8 Year Olds Perspective...

So Kaila was so excited to show me this drawing that she made...it was a timeline of mommy and the pregnancy...


If you can't read it, it's a timeline of my body...it starts on the right and goes to the left. The title is called "Pregnancy List" and has 3 stages!

On the far right is Stage 1, called "This was you", it is a picture of me with this wonderful flat stomach with 2 minature babies in my stomach. Stage 2, called "This is you", it is with a little bigger tummy and the babies. And Stage 3 is "This will be you!", with a very big belly and 2 bigger babies!

Gotta love kids...

This has to be the cutest thing I have seen...you have to save it and put it in your baby book for sure.

When you told me about this, you said she drew your stomach pretty huge for the last stage, but I actually think she was kind...you are gonna look WAY bigger than that- hahahaha.

Leave it to your best friend to make you feel good about yourself. Anyways...I love that Kaila! Tell her to start drawing me some lists.

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
