Spring Break shenanigans

For the 1st time since Kaila started school I was home her entire Spring Break...now, as much as I enjoy my kids I'm not gonna lie I was kind of ready for school to start back up again :o)  Entertaining a 9 year old, her friend and the boys was a lot of work!!

She had quite the busy 2 weeks...she stayed at her Grandma's house, her Aunt's house, had sleepovers almost every night--they alternated between our house and her best friends house, played goofy golf, went to movies, went to her Nana & G-Pa's house and went shopping! 
On the last day of Spring Break, I decided to take her, the boys and her friend to Peter Piper Pizza...

All in all they had a great spring break...now it's BACK TO SCHOOL!!  :o)

hahaha...back to school. Reminds me of the Staples commercial that they play at the beginning of the school year where the dad is riding on the cart with the happiest look on his face. the song playing is "its the most wonderful time of the year".

love the kiddos- but love adult time too.

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
