Hawaii Baby!!!!

We're going to Hawaii!!!!!!

After we got married we never took a honeymoon and then life got the best of us so it just kept getting pushed back and before you know almost 5 years have gone by!  We decided that it was time and so today we officially booked our Honeymoon/5yr Anniversary to Maui!

We got an awesome deal...thanks to my best friend, Sarah!  Hotel/Airfare/Rental Car for only $2,381.00!!
We are going for 6 nights/7 days and are staying at the beautiful Royal Lahaina Resort





I am like a little kid in a candy store!
I cannot wait to go on vacation!!

What a fantastic deal! Sarah needs to start a new profession. Josh and I never went on a honeymoon either. We are going on a cruise to the Caribbean this summer. I feel exactly like you!! Beach, here we come!!

I know!! We priced everything out on our own a couple of months ago and it was going to be about $5,000 before food & fun and we put it off and then she sent this deal and we could not pass it up!!

A cruise to the Caribbean?! How awesome!! You'll have to let me know all about the cruise! Yay for awesome vacations!!!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
