Pool Fence Installed: Check!

We are so relieved that we finally have our pool fence completed!  Obviously, we will still be watching the kids closely, but it's nice to know it's up and they can't get into the pool.  We waited a long time to get it done, but see the thing was, we weren't going to keep this house when we first bought it and put in the pool...but time got the best of us and 6 years later, here we are! 


Recently we were making some hard decisions as to whether or not we were going to stay here, but with the market the way it is (very crappy!) we only had a few options: foreclose, short sale or rent.  So, we decided to stay---we really do love this house!  But if we decided to stay some things needed to be done, the most important, install pool fence.


We met with three different companies...the first, a removable fence or security net, we decided against it...the second, wonderfully beautiful work, but crazy expensive, we decided against it...then the third, everything we wanted and perfectly priced!  We were so thankful for them!


Hooray for having our pool fence done!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
