Lincoln & Tyson are 2!!!!

The boys birthday this year was by far more exciting for them than last year because they were starting to understand what was going on and were so excited when they saw their "Cars" theme party decorations!!   There was no doubt that we would have to go with the Cars theme because of how obsessed they are with Cars!  I loved the decorations, they turned out so cute :o)


I just noticed that our chandelier is totally tilting...could that be from the boys hanging on it?! Hmmm..Lol!!



We started the night off with some yummy dinner with friends and family...

Played (more like rough-housing!) with their best friend!

Sang Happy Birthday to the big boys...



And they made out like bandits! Look at these gifts and that's not all of them :o)








And of course, we ate some cake!!


Happy Birthday to our very special boys!! We love you both so much!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
