Nobody say "ice cream"

After running errands last night, we stopped at Jason's Deli for dinner.  When everyone was finished we gave the boys a small vanilla cone each.

The boys were elated, until Daddy took a bite of Tyson's!  Tyson had shared one other bite prior to this incident, but this time he took too big of bite and basically flattened out his cone and Tyson was beyond offended!  He was so mad and upset that he wouldn't even let Daddy make it better or even give him more!!

It was so sad.  Even though he was beyond mad, the only person he wanted to hold him was Daddy---I, made ine comment in the car about Daddy was the one who took his ice cream, not me and that was wrong thing to say because as soon as I said "ice cream" he became so upset!!

He ended up being upset for about 15-20 minutes and would cry every couple minutes until we got home :( It was so sad!  I think he's still pretty upset at Daddy and he is not letting him live it down!!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
