Class Representitive!

Kaila was inducted into Student Council as Class Representative last night!  She is so excited and so proud, as are we!  They had the cutest ceremony at her school with poems, speeches from the teachers and all then they were all "legally" inducted their teacher and then officially by the Principal.   And then we all celebrated with cake and punch!  Which was so yummy :o)






We forget how loud the boys can be in "quiet" situations until it's quiet and they starting running around and/or are yelling like little crazies!



Kaila's best friend, Kambrie, is in student council as well...here she is reading her poem...

And then it was time for the boys to go outside with Daddy...they had a melt down because of the basket full of balls that they just had to have so Daddy was kind enough to take them out!

After the induction ceremony for Kaila the kids got to get up close and personal with a Police Officer's SUV.  Kambrie's (Kaila's Best Friend) dad is a Supervisor for the Police Dept and was kind enough to let all the kids check it out :o)  They all had so much fun and thought it was the coolest thing ever!

So creative...

Kaila blows me away some days with her creativity and imagination!  She had a project at school where they had to make replecas of important items out of a book they read in class.  If I remember correctly the book is called the "Hatchet".  They also had to present it to everyone and out of her entire class, her teacher asked her if she could keep it so that she can have it as an example for next year! Here is what she made...and honestly I just helped with the hot glue gun, everything was her idea and was done by her own little hands!! The bird from the book... His home that he built... The plane he came in on, tornado and fire... His bow and arrow...  And his raft and hatchet... Great job Kaila!!
