Cupcakes!

I have to share these cupcakes because I think they are too flipping cute!  My sister turned 21 and she wanted bright neon pink cupcakes so after trying to figure out what to do I made black ones (chocolate dyed black) with neon pink (vanilla) frosting and put each one in a martini glass...



The cupcakes were very yummy; however, transporting them were not so fun!  At one point we had to stop on the freeway, wearing a dress, I had to get out and fix them...we officially lost 5, but we made it!  This little man loved them!

My sister got "sick" and was ready to go home, so we got a cab and on the way home the cab driver blew a tire-- Not funny for my sister who was not feelin' so well, but it was hilarious!  Especially when he asked us if we wanted an Icee while we waited--Haha!!  My brother came and got us off the freeway and took us all home...it was a great night and we had so much fun!!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
