February...Part 1

Well my goal was shot out the window...I'm supposed to be updating this blog way more, but it's been a crazy month since I went part-time.  Still trying to figure out a balance with home and work, but as time goes by, it is getting better!

Here is part 1 of our month of February...

Someone got a new tv...65 inches just for the Superbowl...such a boy thing!

I got this from sister and it was too funny not to share...

They boys got these from our friends, Jessica & Ryan.  They are filled with pudding and graham crackers as the sand and gummy worms...super adorable and they LOVED them!!


We went to Kaila's concert...they are so adorably funny!



Wouldn't be a normal day without a spill!!  There is something about milk and cereal just grosses me out! Ha
 
We went bowling with my sister and her boyfriend Kyle and apparently I am a pretty good bowler!! I rocked it - hehehe!!


The boys went on a bike ride together :o)

We bought a matress for Kaila's new room and got creative bringing it home :o)



 
The absolute best cookies in the world arrived :o)

Celebrated Ash Wednesday with the kids...

Since Rob couldn't make it to Mass, I shared my ashes with him...awww! haha

The boys filled out their Valentines for their friends at Maria's...seriously the cutest thing ev-er!


I got these early from the hubby :o)

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
