Teeth!!

Image
Our little boys are getting so big...so big in fact that Mr Tyson woke up with teeth!!! 2 to be exact, one slightly started coming through yesterday, but when he woke up this morning he had 2!  They're on the bottom right next to each other..I know this picture is incredibly blurry and hard to see, but there are 2! Now it's Lincoln's turn!!

Kaila's 10th Birthday Party!

Image
Kaila is finally the big 10 ! (well almost, technically 9 more days to go!) After her soccer game yesterday, she had her birthday party.  It was a swim party with all her friends from soccer, school and the neighborhood. The theme was "Hawaiian" and was oh so cute! I loved these hanging flower decorations except when the wind would blow them and they'd get tangled...and yes because I'm so anal, I would seperate them every time!! :o) They ate pizza, chips, candy and of course cake! This was my favorite...For their drinks they had Sprite with Kool-aid Ice Cubes!  It was so yummy, our favorite was Sprite with Tropical Punch cubes---yum yum! Kaila and her friends in the pool... They had a water balloon fight... They also busted open a pinata... And best part...opened some presents! We got her a "motor scooter" and she loves it!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS KAILA! WE LOVE YOU!!

Goodbye soccer, for now!

Today was Kaila's last soccer game, and boy was it hot!! The high was 106* and we're pretty sure that it was almost that high at 10am!! Even though they lost their last game, the girls played hard and had so much fun!! All the parents were so proud at how well they all played this season, their record was 5-3. Kaila has been told all season that she has a "big foot", now yes her feet are big (she's gonna be tall) but were talking about how big and strong her kick is. When she's goalie, she can kick it from her net to the other side of the field almost making it into the other net! Here's video of her kicking it... After the game, their Coaches took the girls to McDonald's for ice cream and awards! What a great season!!  Kaila did awesome for her 1st time playing soccer ever!  We're so proud and can't wait to start again in the fall!!

Phoenix Children's Museum

The other day we ventured out to the Children's Musuem with our friends, Sarah & Matthew.  I had never been there and wasn't quite sure what to expect.  Although most areas were for bigger kids, they did have a baby room.  This room is just for younger toddlers & babies.  It was really nice because it was very clean, you weren't allowed to wear your shoes or bring in strollers.  And the best part.... Tyson finally crawled!!!! Yay Tyson, great job!! Here are all 3 boys playing...so cute! Then we tried out this "wind" area As you can see that didn't go very well! Except for those 5 minutes, we had lots of fun!!

Trying to eat like big boys!

Image
Now that the boys are more interested in what we're eating and with the hopes that teeth are coming, we decided to let them try to feed themselves. So to start we gave them "Gerber Graduates biter bisquits", at first they weren't sure about it. It was and is such a different texture that they gagged multiple times while trying to swallow it! Now that they have had those for a while they are pros!

Trying to crawl...

Tyson wants to crawl so badly! This is what happens when he tries...

Swimming!!

Image
The boys have been swimming since Mother's Day and they absolutely love it...Especially the "big" pool!! We bought them a small blow up pool to use, but they are way more interested in what's going on in the big pool :o) So we brought them into the "big" pool for a little fun with daddy... Very goofy face, but we love it! Look no hands!
