Our first visit to the hospital...

Apparently the babies wanted to check out the hospital they were going to be born in...so we did!

Heres what happened...unfortunately on Tuesday when I got home from work, I became extremely ill. I haven't been able to keep anything down since then, including water! I was getting very weak and nothing was helping. So, we decided to head down to urgent care...when we got there they were only going to give me meds to help the nausea but we were concerned about not keeping fluids down and they couldn't get me on an iv with fluids...they would have had to transfer me if the meds didn't work. We just decided to head to the hospital so that I could for sure get some fluids in me.

We arrived at the hospital with a very busy waiting room :o(
After waiting for a while and gave blood and urine samples...we got a room! I had to be given 2 bags of fluid and the best nausea medicine in the world!! During my IV a doctor came and took me to get an ultra-sound of the babies...just to make sure they are doing ok...and of course they are doing GREAT...just mom is sick! On top of being preggo and having the flu/cold, I got a bladder infection...no fun! So the doctor gave me a prescription for that and another prescription for the nausea and then we were sent on our way home at 2am!!

I do have to say that my husand is the best because he was such a trooper last night sitting with me in the hospital all night, got home around 2am and got up and went to work!! Absolutely love him!

Pobrecita! at least you have already been to the hospital where you will meet your babies! Plus, now you can start to get better! No more illnesses though, ok?!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!! I am so excited for you. I can't wait to see those little babies.

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
