Sick :o(

For the very first time, the boys got sick :o(  I should also add that everyone else, but Kaila got sick too! 

On Monday (3/29) I called the Pediatrician because I had an suspicion that Lincoln may be getting an ear infection.  He hasn't had a fever, but he's been tugging at it since last week and over last weekend I tried to touch it and he got upset, not to mention he hasn't been sleeping well.  I took him in and sure enough he had a mild infection.  They said I caught it really early and that just tugging the ear is a very subtle sign of an infection because it can also be a sign of teething. 
All 3 of my boys sick...
The following day, I got a cold!  I haven't been sick in who knows how long and it was not fun at all!  And taking care of 2 babies while be sick is very tiring...

If that wasn't enough, Lincoln & Tyson came down with a stomach bug as well as Rob!  Somehow Kaila and I have managed not to get that, but with the way things have gone this past week I'm not holding my breath!

Hopefully everyone will get better real soon!!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that your boys and Rob were not feeling very well! I hope that you all feel better soon!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
