Trouble

That's right these little boys were in trouble! 

A couple weeks ago, I had this nice beautiful vase...


Now I have this...



As you can see, a couple weeks ago we had not had any locks on our cabinets.  Why you ask?  Well not mention any names or place the blame, but that was a to-do for Daddy that hadn't been completed yet :o)

While one little boy was getting into all kinds of stuff and taking all of my attention...the other (Mr. Lincoln) learned how to open our cabinets and wanted to play with the goggles that were stored in there.  He got the goggles out all right, right along with our beautiful vase, which was shattered to pieces!  Thankfully, he didn't hurt himself bad, but he did get his first little cut on the top of his foot where a small piece of glass landed.  It wasn't even bad enough for an Elmo band-aid!

I swept & vacuumed for what seemed like forever and day, but eventually got it all cleaned up and I am happy to report that Daddy put all the locks on the cabinets as soon as he got home that night :o)

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
