Preschool!
Oh my goodness, I cannot believe these 2 are starting preschool!! They are growing up so fast. We've been going back and forth and decided to put them in. They had been asking me every day for almost a month if it was time to go to preschool, they were so excited :o)
We went last Wednesday to meet their teacher, Ms. Montes. They were so enthralled with the classroom and all the awesome toys that by the time it was their turn to meet her, they gave her their names and like 2 seconds of their time and then they were off! Ha, such typical 3yr old boys!
I had to share this pic, because it is the typical "mom licking her finger to clean up the kids face" picture! haha
They were such big boys and listened to her saying to put their water bottles on the counter and hang their back packs up. Ms. Montes told them they could play at the toys at the tables---Tyson first sat down at the table and started playing, and Lincoln started exploring the other toys and then finally sat down.
As the teacher was saying hello to the other kids, we all of a sudden hear a little voice saying, "Ms. Montes, Ms. Montes." And then we look over and it's Tyson with a different toy/game that he got off a shelf and asks her if he can play with it. She tells him, no it wasn't on the table go play with the toys on the table, ok?". He looks down at the toy and says ok and walks away.
Not even 30 seconds later, we hear "Ms. Montes, Ms. Montes, Ms. Montes. Can I play with this?". It's T-man again asking for some other game! She asks him, "Was that on the table?". He looks at it, and then looks at her and says "Yes.". {Ha!!} She tries so hard not to laugh as do the rest of us, because he was so serious and was trying so hard to get away with it. She says, "no, I don't think it was on table, was it?". He looks down again and says with a straight face, "Yes.". This kid was not backing down! Finally she said, "No, I don't think it was on the table. Now go play with the stuff at the table.". He looked at her and the toy and finally put it back. It was priceless!!!
Finally, it was time to go and leave them---They were such big boys and had no problems!! Let's just say no tears came from the little dudes, only the parentals :o) When I picked them up, they were so happy to see me and were so proud of how great of a day that had and their folders with their names on them!

And then a special treat to McDonalds :o)
And then it was time to go to school!! They were beyond excited and so happy that Daddy came home to take them!!
