It is with a sad heart, I write this.  Kaila's beloved pet, Floa (her guppy fish) has become a Fish Angel.  No word as to why she died or what happened, but we do know that... -She swam a great life -She was the coolest looking fish when she was picked out -She was the only one who was green in the tank -Her poop was disgusting After lots of tears and multiple discussions about not wanting to flush her, because the crabs will eat her if we flush her. We ended up having a nice little memorial in the bathroom.  We shared stories, talked about all the good things (because she did not want to remember Floa as being dead), wiped more tears and then we flushed her so she could join Fish Heaven and look over all the other fishes in the sea. Yes, it's already been asked if she can have another fish or frog, because she doesn't want Swimmers to be alone.  But we've decided to hold off, seeing as how it just might be too soon and too hard... I am very grateful for my family, but this Thanksgiving I was (am) incredibly thankful for my husband!  He's been so busy working 6 days a week (just loving retail right now!) that he barely has time off to just relax.  And finally that day comes and instead of sitting on the couch watching football or sleeping or anything else for himself, he helped me --- without even asking, I might add! We ended up doing Thanksgiving at our house this year and he was a saint!  I started making breakfast and he went straight outside to mow the lawn, pull the weeds, spray off the patio and clean the pool!  After breakfast, he helped clean downstairs, vacuumed, swept & mopped while I was cooking and taking care of the boys! Then he even helped get the turkey ready!  He did not complain, whine or have the slightest attitude ever! And I didn't even ask him one time to do any of those tasks!!  He is such a great guy --- I hope he knows how much I love him and gra...

Date nights are too far and between these days, but this one came just in time, thanks to my parents!  Rob asked me to go out on Sunday for lunch and a movie so, we called the parentals in hopes they'd say sure bring 'em by!  They did!  We dropped them off around 12:45 and off we went!  We went to Outback for lunch and ate way too much food and then to a movie.  We could not decide what to see, I like typical girly movies and him, not so much!  I was a nice wife though, and said he could decide...it was between Harry Potter or a few girly ones.  Now don't get me wrong these movies are usually pretty good, but it was the first time in I don't know how long that we actually got to go out and he wanted to see Harry Potter?!  Ugh! was exactly my feeling when he purchased "2 tickets for Harry Potter at 3:30". After wallowing in my own sorrow while walking around the mall, we went in to see Harry Potter...and to my surprise...

I can not believe I haven't posted anything about soccer this season and it's already over!  It's been a little crazy around here :o)  Kaila played in the same soccer league with the same Coach again and even though it was hotter than blazes some days, she still wants to play next season!!  We for sure thought she was going to be burned out, especially since they were the youngest team in their division = not so many wins :( She played goalie again and did great!  One game she literally had 30 kicks against her and she only gave up 3.  Only 3!!!  I think that was pretty awesome! No matter if they won or lost, her team had great sportsmanship! After her last game, Coach took them to McDonalds for ice cream and awards---mainly ice cream :o)  Kaila was named MVP for this past season!!  We were so proud of her! We can't believe that it's been a year since Tyson, aka Our Million Dollar Baby , had his little broken heart fixed.  We're amazed every day at how much he's endured at such a young age. The BIG day...Getting ready to head to the hospital Not that it is ever easy to let your child's life be placed in the care of someone else's, but for me the first surgery was easier.  Everything was such a whirlwind, we had just had twins boys and one who was swept away so fast to be cared for that we really hadn't had much time to truly bond.  This time around was like giving away a piece of my heart (no pun intended).  We were able to have him home with us and really bonded with one another. They basically had to rip him from my arms.  I could barely let him go, I knew that he was finally going to get his heart fixed, but I wasn't ready to say goodbye. We took Tyson to his Cardiology appointment on Thursday and we are pleased to say that his heart function is great and his gradient level was lower than expected!  They had to double check the gradient level just to be sure before they let us leave cause it was that low!!  It was expected to be 25 and higher, but it was 18!!  We are so close to him having a "normal" heart!! Dr. Pophal said we'll see him in about 4-5 months, then confirmed to be back in 5.  I'll be honest, I was hoping for at least a 6 month clearance, but 5 is better than next week/2 weeks/1 month so I'll take it.  Since our little man didn't follow the rules and his repair was complicated (the pulmonary arteries are straddling the Aorta) we have to be sure that everything stays secured and moving in the right direction.
