Fall Funness!

We took the kids to Mother's Nature Farm on Sunday to walk around the farm and to get a pumpkin and they had so much fun!!

Silly kids!



Checked out the animals...or as the boys say it "aminals" :o)




We even fed the cow & goats...




Went through the hay maze and the boys did so well, they lead us :o)





Had the most fun in the hay pit...




Bounced in a bounce house...can you see the little guys?!


We went on a hayride around the farm...



And then picked out pumpkins...


I'm not a huge fan of farms because of how stinky they are, but this one was so cute and they had a lot of fun running around!! I especially loved the little chicks that were for sale for only $5---smoking deal, especially knowing that after you are done with the "baby" stage, you can donate them back to the farm!  Now, only if I could talk Rob into letting us have one or two...

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
