Best Friend Sleepover

What's spring break with out a sleepover with your best friend?!  Kaila & Kambrie have so much fun together and we love having her over!

They attempted to "sleep" out on the trampoline, but came in around 1:15am because it was "cold"...since that's the story they're giving us we'll just go with it and throw out the fact that we all thought it was because they were scared :o)


They decided they wanted to make us breakfast all by themselves...it was a very nice gesture, but they were making pancakes and when I got downstairs the batter was ready to go and stove was on...I jumped in just to make sure we didn't have another fire fighter visit :o)

So I made them chocolate chip pancakes and they were so good.  I had never had chocolate chip pancakes before! (I've been craving them ever since!)  Then they made this fort while trying to beat Mario Bros on the wii, which was hilarious, I wish I had video taped the craziness!!

AND I did sleep on a trampoline once and it is cold!

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
