Days like today make me so happy and full of joy! The boys have been angels :o) Not that every day they're bad, but you put 2 one year olds in a room together and it can be pretty chaotic!!

I decided to take them to lunch and either the store to play with the toys or the park...we went to Sweet Tomatoes (gotta love coupons and kids under 2 eat free!) and they were so well behaved that I actaully enjoyed my meal! I received so many compliments on how well my children behave, it was a nice change and made me feel like I was doing something right in how I raise my kids. There was no screaming, no throwing food, crying, fighting, nothing, just pure bliss!

After lunch we stopped by Target and we went to the toy aisle and again, angels. They listened, didn't run away from me and there were no messes to clean up! They were so good that I took them to the dollar section and let them pick out a toy...they each got a little train and you'd think it was the greatest thing since sliced bread seeing as how Tyson had to nap with it!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for a great, peaceful day!! Mommy needed it!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
