Fruit Snacks

I used to buy these awesome fruit snacks at Fry's and then one day they changed their "recipe"...I was so mad (more like devastated) that they had done this to me!  Over time, I have not been able to find a brand/kind that comes even close to the old ones, until now! 

I couldn't believe it, the store I hate going into and complain every time I have to go, would be the place that has them...Walmart!  I was so excited that I told my BFF (who is equally obsessed w/ the old Fry's brand fruit snacks) immediately!

I have everyone hooked on them now...especially the boys :o)
They will sit here and eat them like there's no tomorrow!!



They really like having their own package, it makes them feel like "big boys".
Now, Lincoln eats them slow and enjoys them...
  
While Tyson barely takes a breath and eats all of them in about 2 bites...you can see that his mouth is full of them!

After he was done shoving them all in his mouth, he ran over to the pantry yelling for more---that's my boy :o) 

Yummy - Yummy - Yummy!!
They are so good that I bought 5 boxes :o)

Just to clarify...you bought 5 boxes of the 24 packs??

They only have 24 packs at Marketside. If you really have like 125 fruit snacks at your house right now, I am going to make fun of you.

and yes. we are nuts. Mark told me so the other day when I explained this story to him.

Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, ...

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later ...
